Mr. George Barnych is the VP & CTO of the Manufacturing Technology Deployment Group (MTDG) the holding company for the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM) and the Advanced Manufacturing International (AMI) subsidiaries. Prior to this position, George had worked as an independent contractor in the field of Advanced Manufacturing for the John Olson Advanced Manufacturing Center; International TechneGroup Incorporated; the Advanced Robotics Manufacturing (ARM) Institute; and the Digital Manufacturing & Design Innovation Institute (DMDII) now referred to as MxD. Prior to his involvement in consulting, Mr. Barnych served for over a decade as Director of Advanced Munition Systems at General Dynamics – Ordinance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a global aerospace and defense company. Mr. Barnych has more than 28 years of management experience in technology development and project management. Mr. Barnych is a USAF veteran and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University.
