WEST Exhibitor: MACH Machine Tools Ltd, based in Bristol, England, gained recognition for its MACH VS-1 Classic Turret milling machine, launched in 2012 that became a favourite in job shops & training Schools across the UK & Europe. MACH has experienced huge growth, establishing itself as a leading supplier of high-quality CNC & manual machinery. Now, MACH has set its sights on the US recognizing synergies between the UK & US markets. The company will initially offer its range of Manual & DynaPath Controlled Turret Mill through its newly formed U.S. subsidiary, MACH Machine Tools USA, based in Detroit. The MACH VS1-SP will make its US debut on Booth 1635 at the WESTEC Show in October. Moving away from its direct sales strategy in the UK, MACH aims to connect with US based machine tool distributors at the show. Group Managing Director David Andrew, who will at the show, stated, “This is a huge opportunity for MACH. We believe the MACH VS1 turret mill will be well-received in the US market, as American engineers, like their British counterparts, value quality.” He added, “Our products are competitively priced, have an impressive list of accessories offered “as standard” and since our machines are assembled in the UK, they face significantly lower import tariffs when compared to many Asian built machines that are being offered in the USA.” David concluded by emphasizing that their success in the U.S. will depend on building strong relationships with the right distributors.
